— The Federal Reserve remains on course to raise rates, on improving U.S. labor market.
— The Greek stock exchange reopened Aug. 3, after a five-week closure; stocks there plunged.
The IMF warned that the Greek debt crisis is not over and could threaten the Eurozone.
— The Shanghai stock index fell further, prompting China’s government to continue buying shares.
