Jay Levesque

Jay loves the fast pace and constant change of investment management. But the best part of his work, he says, is stepping back from all the noise to gain perspective and identify what will drive optimal long-term investment results for our clients. As part of LNWM’s Investment Strategy and Research team, Jay has research responsibility for alternative investments as well as the overall monitoring of financial trends.

Another thing Jay really enjoys about his work is working closely with other investment team members. Each person follows broader macroeconomic trends, he says, but is also a specialist in an asset category. The investments recommended for client portfolios derive from individual insights and expertise but are ultimately vetted by the entire team. “Everything is scrutinized and questioned thoroughly in peer review,” says Jay. “And that’s what creates the strong conviction we need to say, yes, let’s do it. Or no, let’s pass.”
