Managing Director, Investment Strategy
Our clients are involved in all sorts of professional and philanthropic endeavors, says Jerry, and one of his most rewarding roles is to help them amplify these efforts and the impact on the community. The amplification Jerry refers to comes from tapping into what we call “concentric circles” of influence — the extensive resources of the Laird Norton group of companies, insights from our work with nonprofits, and LNWM’s in-house expertise on investments, tax and legacy planning. The result is often a plan that leverages both personal and financial assets in a way the client would not have thought possible initially.
While Jerry has lived and worked all over the world, including Japan and Australia, he loves to call the Pacific Northwest home. And he very much appreciates LNWM’s tradition of having individuals, families, and nonprofits as clients. There is much that our clients can learn from each other, he says. And the rewards are many when we explore with them how all their assets — money, time, connections — can be used to further their goals and their legacy.
