Scott Butterfield
Chief Client Strategy Officer
If you ask Scott what he enjoys most about his work, he will instantly tell you that it’s the time spent getting to know each of his clients and their families on a deep, personal level. Having worked with many of them since their now adult children were in grade school or even younger, he knows their family histories and priorities, and that is what allows him to do the very best work for each.
A CPA with more than 25 years of experience in financial services and wealth planning, Scott loves to build structures that withstand the test of time. He recently had the pleasure of helping one of his clients put the finishing touches on a generational transfer of wealth, the first steps of which began more than 20 years ago. The plan was complex, involving several trusts, a family partnership and multiple generations. Says Scott: “Having been there as advisor from the very start, the best part for me is that I get to begin an exciting new chapter with the next generation in the family.”
