The Puget Sound Business Journal (PSBJ) this week named Laird Norton Wealth Management (LNWM) as one of the region’s top 75 corporate philanthropists, the fifth year our firm has been recognized with this honor. In addition, Laird Norton Company, our parent company, is also being recognized as a top corporate philanthropist, demonstrating the commitment to community that has defined the Laird Norton family history for seven generations.

LNWM builds strategic partnerships with area organizations to create collaborative campaigns that help nonprofits achieve long-term goals, advance their missions and attract new partners to their cause. Each partnership aligns with the values of LNWM and leverages each party’s expertise, influence and promotional assets. In doing so, the campaigns are designed to impact the region in meaningful ways at a much larger scale than any one organization could accomplish on its own.

The PSBJ rankings are based on total cash given to Washington non-profits during 2018. In total, the 75 companies on the lists had a combined cash giving in Washington State of $169 million. They include companies both large and small whose giving has had a major impact on our region. A Corporate Citizenship Luncheon will be held in May to celebrate the commitment of LNWM and many other local companies to making our region a better place to live for everyone.
