LNWM Honored for Pro Bono Services at 2019 Community Impact Awards
While we never like to rest on our laurels, it is always nice to be recognized for doing good work. Yesterday evening, LNWM received a 2019 Community Impact Award from Seattle Business Magazine for our pro bono services. Since our founding in 1967, we have worked in many different ways to support local nonprofits, becoming one of the top corporate philanthropists in WA State, and we have actually ramped up those efforts in the past several years.

In terms of pro bono services, LNWM has been working with nearly a dozen major Seattle-area nonprofits to educate and inform their donors, boards and policy committees, and to help them initiate and implement new strategies that strengthen their financial futures. These efforts are far-reaching have been spearheaded by Kristi Mathisen, LNWM Managing Director Tax and Financial Planning; Jeanne Goussev, LNWM Managing Director of Fiduciary Services, and Erin Moyer, LNWM Managing Director of Marketing and Communications (see photo at left).
Here at LNWM, we know that wealth means more than money, that being intentional yields enormous benefits, and that people prosper when communities prosper. Therefore, we will continue to build strategic partnerships with area organizations that leverage our expertise to help them advance their missions and attract new partners to their cause. In doing so, we believe our work with nonprofits is more likely to impact the region in meaningful ways at a much larger scale than any one organization could accomplish on its own.
We are in constant awe of the work our nonprofit partners do in our community be it in education, healthcare, the arts or social justice. And we plan to do even more to further their missions in the years to come. The nonprofits we work with currently can be found on our Community page.
