Stronger Together: All in WA

Looking for a really good show and inspiration this Fourth of July weekend? Because major firework shows have been canceled, you might want to watch (or re-watch) the all-star virtual concert put on by All in WA, live streamed on June 24 (and now free on Amazon Prime).

There’s something for everyone in this bash –  Pearl Jam, Macklemore, Brandie Carlile, Ciara, Russell Wilson, Dave Matthews, Sir-Mix-A-Lot, and many more celebs and entertainers. It’s a reminder of how much our state has to offer and also what we can do working together.  All in WA has so far raised more than $48 million to support Covid-19 relief in WA State. And they’d love for you to make a donation, since they are aiming to raise at least $65 million.

Learn how you can get involved in any number of causes and community funds across our state by visiting allinwa.org.

Laird Norton Co. (LNC), our parent company, was one of the sponsors of the June 24 concert, which had major backing from Amazon, Microsoft, Seattle Genetics, Puget Sound Energy, Avista, Madrona Venture Group, Premera Blue Cross, Russell Investments and Zillow Group. In video below, Jeff Vincent, the CEO and President, of Laird Norton Co., talks about why we’re stronger together.

In May 2020, major nonprofits, community leaders, businesses, and philanthropists across the state joined together to launch All in WA, a coordinated statewide effort to support workers and families who have been acutely affected by the Covid-19 crisis.

All in WA will help address a wide variety of needs, including food shortages, health disparities, housing assistance, small businesses struggling to stay open, families with children, and the health and safety of essential workers.
