Top-of-mind economic news as we start the week:

U.S. retail sales surged by 1.3% in October as consumers continued to spend despite inflation.

U.S. existing home sales fell for the 9th straight month in October, down 5.9% from prior month.

Applications for U.S. jobless claims for the week ending Nov. 12 fell by 4,000 from the the previous week (to 222,000).

China’s October retail and industrial data missed expectations.

The Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) will work on creating climate-related financial reporting for asset managers.
