Headlines discussed at LNWM’s Monday morning briefing:

A bipartisan group of U.S. lawmakers proposed $908 billion in new Covid-19 relief spending, including aid for state and local governments. 

The U.S. economy created 245,000 new jobs in Nov. (down from 610,000 in Oct.), the 5th straight month of slowing job growth. 

Roughly 20 million Americans are collecting some type of jobless benefits vs. 1.6 million a year ago; the official U.S. unemployment rate fell to 6.7%

U.S. construction spending (public and private) rebounded by 1.3% in October and is up close to 4% from this time last year, on demand for housing, transport. 

France threatened to veto final Brexit deal on fishing concerns; all 27 Eurozone governments must approve deal before Dec. 31; otherwise no-deal Brexit occurs.
