Your Life Calling
What is your life calling?
This was the unique challenge that Jane Pauley issued to the 300 multi-generational attendees at Laird Norton Wealth Management’s annual Thought Forum™ at the Seattle Art Museum on September 12. Every year we host this event to bring together our clients, colleagues and friends for an exchange of ideas on how to maximize life fulfillment from notable guest speakers. Last year we invited MIT’s Dr. Joseph F. Coughlin to speak to us about future innovations that will help us live well at any age. The year before, we listened to Bill George speak about “finding your true north.” This year, Jane Pauley inspired us to answer our life’s calling and embrace reinvention. Although these are not typical wealth management topics, we chose them to underscore our commitment to helping our clients and their families achieve not only financial security, but also pursue their happiness and explore their passions.
At Laird Norton Wealth Management, we have helped our clients grow both their financial and human capital. For over 45 years, we have been driven by the commitment to help our clients achieve success through careful planning that manages all aspects of their wealth and ultimately balances both kinds of capital. That’s why we created our ReGenU initiative and this blog, which is all about exploring different ways to balance the wealth management equation.
If you are intrigued by the topic of finding new ways to achieve fulfillment, we recommend you read the re-cap of our Thought Forum™ presentation. We hope that Jane Pauley’s stories about how she and others reinvented their lives will get you thinking about your own life calling. If they do, we’d love to work with you to help you achieve your goals.
